Village homes SOCIALhousing provider Golding Homes is to take on five new homes in Laddingford. The company, which manages

more than 6,300 properties in the borough, has obtained planning permission to demolish dilapidated garages in Cleavesland and replace them with two three-bedroom houses, two two-bedroom houses and one one-bedroom bungalow. The plans include environmental improvements – landscaping and paths – on an adjacent piece of land. Golding Homes aims to start

work on site in the spring and com- plete the project in early 2015.

The proposal would extend an existing planning consent, which was granted in July 2011 allowing travellers to live in two mobile homes and two touring caravans on the site. Maidstone Council will determine the application.
