Hi Fans,
I’m so excited—I’m on a new page and closer to the front! After 10 years I thought I was really making progress but the Editor says it is only for this month. :(

“I have been taking Sam to obedience/agility classes at St. Ives showground each Thursday for a while now, in the hope that he will some- day be adopted. He has been at DoggieRescue for as long as I have, 3 years, with no prospects on the horizon, so I thought it may help.” Marg
I wanted to tell you all about my DR foster brother Bartie. He is smart (he already sleeps in my spot in the bed!!!), he is cuddly (as Mum says that’s a better word than fat), he has long hair with missing spots (sort of bald) and loves food but he can’t eat every- thing he sees ‘cause he’s got no teeth, just gums. His other Mum did not keep his teeth clean so he had to have them all pulled out—ouch…That must have hurt!!! Mum told me he is 11 years young and a cross Chihuahua but I have not seen him cross yet.
Bartie tries to play and runs around squeaking a toy for about one minute, then he’s tired. When Dad throws the ball I always get it first, Bartie gets puffed but he’s on a diet and Mum says to give him a few weeks and then he will be faster than me (I don’t think soooo!) He also does lots of smellies!!!!
I’m sure that Bartie has never been loved as he gets so excited when he gets attention and cuddles. His tails goes round and round. Mum and Dad really love him a lot already, even Fish the cat likes to sleep on him ‘cause he’s built like a cushion! And me, he’s the BEST Christmas present I’ve ever had. He’s already a part of our family! Foster doggies are just so great….C/u Chips
