Who’s a Natural Awakenings reader? Meet Sayer Ji Career/life’s work or mission: My life’s mission is to provide people with the educational tools they need to empower themselves to gain greater health in body and mind.

Proudest achievements: My two children, Bella and Sienna (which includes being smart enough to marry my lovely wife, who gave them to me), and creating the world’s most widely referenced, open source natural medicine database.

Future expectations: scaling up and further globalizing awareness of health freedom issues and natural health in- formation through the radio show, Rethinking Health Matters, webinars and other social media tools.

Your favorite Meet-up group: Linda Tomasi’s Naples Raw Food group. Favorite app: Buycott app. Favorite website: Truth-Out.org.

Local causes supported: Red Tide Awareness and Anti-Oil Drilling/Fracking in Naples.

Favorite thing about NA: Natural Awakenings has a consistently positive perspective and tone on natural health and environmental issues, which is not always easy, considering how serious and intimidating some of these topics are.

Most frequented healthy food res- taurant: Food & Thought.

How do you invest in your communi- ty: I support local businesses, especially natural and ‘green’ ones, and I helped organize a local drum circle that has gathered together for the last decade.

Favorite quote: “Work is love made visible.” ~ Kahlil Gibran

What are you doing to be the change you want to see in the world? I’m the founder of GreenMedInfo. com, an author, researcher, lecturer, and an advisory board member of the National Health Federation. I founded GreenMedInfo.com in 2008 in order to provide the world an open access, evidence-based resource supporting natural and integrative modalities. It is recognized as the most widely refer- enced health resource of its kind.
