Bala Vinyasa Expands Yoga for Crossroads Members

he 12-year partnership between Bala Vinyasa Yoga (BVY) and the David Law- rence Center, both based in Naples, has recently ex-


panded. A second complimentary Yoga for Sobriety class for those enrolled in the center’s Crossroads adult substance abuse treatment program is being of- fered from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. Fridays at the studio.


Crossroads is the center’s 18-bed adult residential substance abuse treat- ment program. The biological and psy- chological benefits of yoga are a direct complement to Crossroads treatment services that address the physical, emo- tional and spiritual needs of individuals seeking treatment. “Our goal is to provide a commu- nity and safe haven where Crossroads clients can find new hope through the calming and transformative effects of yoga,” says BVY owner Kiersten Mooney.
