FROM LONDON TO BRIGHTON

The military charity Blind Veterans UK is preparing to again trek the 100K from London to Brighton. Are you tough enough to join them?

B 44

lind Veterans UK, formerly St Dunstan’s, supports blind ex-Service men and women, regardless of when they

served or how they lost their sight.

For the June 14 event people are already signing up. The route takes the trekkers

from the start in south London, on beautiful countryside paths through Surrey, Sussex and the North and South Downs and finishes at the charity’s rehabilitation and training centre in Ovingdean, Brighton.

Amongst those already in training is member of the charity, blind amputee Clive

Huntingford. Clive has been with the charity for the past two years having lost his sight literally overnight. The former Navy communicator who served in the Falklands set himself the challenge of completing the trek as a way of thanking the charity for the unwavering support it has shown him.
