promises to be better at allowing time for ourselves. The word “meditation” is often misunderstood. Whether it is quiet time, grounding time, re-centering or re-balancing ourselves, these moments are important because they help us to re-connect with our Higher Selves. Higher refers to the higher energies away from the illusion of the structure of modern society. On a physical sense, we do often get caught up in our “doing” and sometimes overlook our “Being”. Our Soul, our Divine Essence, gets bored easily with

society’s “working for the money” concept. We know deep within that there is more to life than that! We can help each other more in a few minutes of meditation, than we can in a full day of work. “How is that possible?” you ask. Separation and fear are tools used to distract us from our True Selves. We are All One, and are Connected. This may not be fully understood until it is experienced through meditation. And once you do re-Connect… you will never forget that Divine Feeling. I find that those who struggle more with this…are those that are empathic, intuitive and those in the Holistic Professions. Fellow Holistic Practitioners have to work harder at keeping a strict schedule that allows “me” time. We want to share with others the benefits of tapping into their Inner Wisdom so much that it is easy to get carried away with that sharing.

There is great power is saying “No” to distractions. We get

in the groove of working and helping others that sometimes not only are we neglecting ourselves, but our family and loved ones as well. I would like to share a personal experience. I enjoy baking, and my family enjoys eating what I bake. So, my sons tell me

that I haven’t been baking as much as I usually do, especially at this time of the season. I found myself getting ready to tell them that I will get to it later. Catching myself, I admitted that they are correct. And to top it off, a dear friend shared with me that she was going through the same thing! She took time off to enjoy her family. Thank you Universe, I get the message! Well then, no more distractions…off to bake I go. I find myself being relaxed and humming while I bake delicious treats for my family. Baking is a form of meditation for me. Suddenly, I feel the energy shift in the home…happier, calmer, and more relaxed. Ah! Meditation is a portal! By vibrating with these higher

energies, I not only create a space of Inner Wisdom for myself… but for others around me….all through the house…deep into the ground/Earth….high above me….all around for miles…to finally, no limits on how far these energies go. As soon as I feel like a Lighthouse….oh yeah, I get it! As we all meditate and enter this portal together…we Connect with each other, as ONE, and assist in raising the vibrations for every Living Being! That door way to this portal is within you…that relationship you have within yourself.
