Thursday 24th Festival Feast – Italian Orchard. 7pm We’re kicking off the main Festival events with a fabulous four course feast overseen by Mitch Tonks and Festival Head Chef Serin Aubrey with help from the hospitality students of South Devon College and some of Dartmouth’s favourite chefs. Imagine an Italian Feast at harvest time; great food, great atmosphere and great music to get the weekend started. Tickets £25.
Friday 25th Mitch and Mark’s Celebration of South
West Seafood Lunch. 12:30pm Mitch Tonks will be joined by chef Mark Hix and Robin Hancock from Wright Bros oysters to talk about the glory of South West British Seafood. Following this you’ll join Mitch for a fabulous selection of the best British Seafood along with dessert and coffee. Menu devised by Mitch Tonks and Mark Hix and prepared and delivered with the help of South Devon College. £30.
Jay Rayner : A Greedy Man in a
Hungry World. 7.30pm The doctrine of local food is dead. Farmers’ Markets are a lifestyle choice for the affluent and ‘organic’ has become little more than a marketing label that is passed its sell by date. This may all be hard to swallow for the ethically-aware shopper but food critic Jay Rayner will explain why as he takes you on a journey through the world’s edible landscape. Saturday 26th Get Up And Cook with Miranda
Gardiner. 9:30 – 10:30 Our Children’s Cooking Champion, local food writer Miranda Gardiner, will host a lively hour of cooking with guest chefs for children and families. Inspiring and full of tips and ideas this session is FREE of charge and no booking is required.
Saturday Morning Live at the Flavel. 11am – 1pm
A delicious menu of demonstrations and chat. This year our hosts will be eco-journalist and The One Show reporter Lucy Siegle and Festival favourite, wine writer Susy Atkins, along with chef Richard Hunt. They’ll be joined by some great local food producers and cooking up some fabulous food. Tickets are just £5.

Chairman David Jones and his fellow King- swear Landladies, Kit Noble and Tony Pithers, have been hatching a plot to demonstrate a brunch menu the likes of which have never been seen before.
