A school which is proud to be a little different!
R
IMU Music Preparatory School & Nursery was founded in May 2012 starting with the nursery and is now set to start its first reception class in September 2013. RIMU was set up by Nathalie Richardson whose background is in music and education.
Nathalie studied at The Guildhall School of Music and set up her theatre schools, Step Up, in 1996. She has long felt that music and the arts should play a key role in education which led her to set up RIMU.
All the children have weekly classes in Ballet, Street dance, Gymnastics, Drama and Music alongside their curriculum as well as a strong emphasis on learning French.
The Nursery operates 51 weeks of the year but also offers a term time nursery for those parents who have older siblings at school.
The reception class will not exceed 10 pupils offering a very individual approach to education. Previous experience in music is not necessary.
