It’s free to join the library and there are no fines on books taken out on a child’s ticket and no charge for accidental damage to books borrowed by children under 5.
The library offers some great things for under 5’s and also parents:
• lots of lovely board and picture books to share with your child • rhyme time sessions and storytimes • events and activities throughout the year • borrow CD’s, DVD’s and Talking Books (charges apply) • books on all aspects of parenting
The library is a great place for meeting people and learning. It’s suitable for all ages and offers something for everyone, with fantastic author events, performances and lots of activities to get involved in.
