What’s on in Northampton Open Invitation to Clubs
In our last Newsletter, an open invitation went out to all Clubs, for over 50’s, to get in touch if they would like to host a short and informal presentation of the Network, which could also include bringing along the ‘New Age Kurling’ for members to have a go at, which is a very popular and enjoyable game. Unfortunately, we can only offer this in Northampton at present . Three clubs have already taken up this offer, from which a number of new members have joined the 50+ Network, some of whom have booked onto other Network events. Our Northampton co-ordinator has found these presentations most enjoyable and worthwhile, and has attended subsequent meetings at some of the Clubs. For more info on the Clubs taking part* *Cardigan Close over 50’s - Angela on 01604 622132 *Kings Heath over 50’s - Jackie on 01604 845136 *St Albans Activity Seekers - Joan 01604 716186. If you would like to have a presentation and try ‘New Age Kurling’ at your retirement club, please Tel: Sandra 01604 718098 or e-mail
