Northampton 50+ Autumn Stroll & Walk and Lunch

At Harlestone Firs on Friday 4th October 2013, meeting at 10.30am in the Garden Centre Car Park. Join us to enjoy the great outdoors at Harlestone Firs, followed by lunch at the Harlestone Garden Centre.

The idea is for you to take a gentle stroll for up to an hour or a bit more of a strenuous walk for 11/2 – 2 hours. The short walk will be suitable for most levels of fitness and mobility, and on the flat, the longer walk be a little more strenuous. We will then all meet for lunch at the Garden Centre. For those not familiar with the Garden Centre, you will find many other things on offer apart from plants and tools and seeds. There is a book department, clothes, pet’s corner, furniture, and a lot of gift items and cards. The café / restaurant has a good reputation. Some of you may just like to visit the Garden Centre and have lunch, thus avoiding the exercise!

Confirm by Friday 27th September 2013, whether you will be doing the short or longer walk and whether you would like lunch.
