THE SIMPLE TAG SOLUTION Discover Jtagz’ Raktag®
BY PATRICIA GLYNN
Does your business use a reliable inspection tag system? Keeping track of past and future inspection dates is vitally important. T orough inspections conducted at appropriate intervals can prevent a laundry list of dangerous and expensive problems, such as caustic burns, abrasive wear, worn stitches, corrosion, holes, knots, cracks, melting, and ultraviolet light degradation.
Having the right technology to execute effi cient and timely tag inspections can make all the diff erence. Fortunately, Australian-based company, Jtagz, appreciates the challenges industry pros contend with when it comes to these inspections. Based out of Queensland, Jtagz has created a visual inspection tag, the Raktag, which has been specifi cally designed to address the unique needs of the lifting and rigging industry. “We’re intensely and sincerely passionate when it comes to our products and to servicing this industry,” attests Paul Jowsey, owner and CEO of Jtagz. “We’ve worked hard to gain credibility and our clients know they can rely on our products to be consistently high quality and exceptionally durable.” Jowsey has made it a top priority for his company
to thoroughly understand the level of performance his clients need. He explains that Jtagz has partnered with scientists from the University of Brisbane, who have conducted extensive experiments with the tags. “T ey have tirelessly tested them to gauge their break points on all applications, and they have tested them in full UV penetration until the nylon breaks down.” T e CEO and his staff resolutely aim to deliver complete customer satisfaction. “We have worked with nylon tags for more than thirty years,” says Jowsey, “We consistently strive to do our very best in terms of service, quality, and integrity. We take pride in what we do and we work hard to be the best. Our slogan is, “You know what you’re doing… We know what we’re doing.” While Jowsey has described the work leading up
to Raktag’s success as “arduous,” it has clearly paid off as the fi nal product boasts a number of impressive features. “T e Raktag is distinctive in that it is specially made for identifying inspected heavy lifting industry gear. T e nylon we use is the world’s fi nest
UV stabilized, DuPont material – its fl exible, yet robust. T e material can really go the distance and is impact resistant. Our tags are able to withstand even the harshest of environments, from the desert to the tundra, to being underwater. “Furthermore, they’re retentive while still being easy
to apply, and they have a double-action tamper-evident clasp. Simply put, this means workers will be unable to relocate the tag to untested equipment,” explains Jowsey, “Once a tag has been applied, it’s there for good.”
