WHAT’S NEW HARRINGTON HOISTS UNVEILS NER ELECTRIC CHAIN HOISTS WITH SMART LIMIT OPTION
Harrington Hoists, Inc. has introduced their NER electric chain hoists with a new Smart Limit option. These hoists are available in dual speed capacities from 1/8 Ton through 5 Ton and will be used in applications that require precise lifting, lowering and stopping and for delicate or fragile loads.
The Smart Limit feature allows the hoist operator to program upper and lower smart limit positions directly at the hoist pendant, eliminating the typical production downtime that occurs when the adjusting of geared limits must be done inside a hoist body. Additionally, the hoist is equipped with a soft stop feature within the Smart Limit that slows the hook down as it approaches each limit for smooth and precise positioning.
Harrington’s NER Smart Limit electric chain hoist has all of the top quality features of Harrington’s standard NER three phase, dual speed electric chain hoists such as “The Guardian” Smart Brake Technology - a failsafe maintenance-free brake with a 10 year warranty, extreme duty 60 minute rated motor and a completely sealed hoist body suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Harrington Hoists, Inc. is a Kito Group Company located in Manheim, PA, Elizabethtown, PA and Corona, CA. y
WHAT’S NEW TIGRIP’S NEW TBL SERIES PLATE CLAMP EMPHASIZES SAFETY
Intercon Enterprises Inc., distributor of the TIGRIP line, recently announced the TBL Series Plate Clamp from the TIGRIP Material Handling Grabs Line. Unique in the plate steel handling industry, the new TBL Series Plate Clamp off ers features with a focus on safety.
The 1.0 Ton to 3.0 Ton TBL Series Plate Clamp Models have a Safety Lever to lock open and lock closed. The Lock Open position is easy to set over the edge of plate material with no “jamming” or teeth chipping, which is possible with spring loaded cams. The Lock Closed position stops the clamp from “walking” at edge of plate during a horizontal to vertical lift at top/dead center. In addition, a large squared gripping pad provides 200% to 300% more contact area versus other clamps’ “buttons”, as well as a non-welded (bolted) multi-laminated plate body providing further safety benefi ts with the potential to expose abuse – permitting corrections for safe usage.
The TIGRIP line off ers plate clamps, screw clamps, I-beam grabs and other material handling grabs for wide variety of lifting applications.
Intercon Enterprises Inc., established in 1978, manufactures and delivers high quality products to the welding, machining and fabrication industries. Founded by Alfred Schenk, the company has grown and prospered for over three decades standing by its motto of providing “Performance through innovation and quality.” For more information on TIGRIP’s TBL Series Plate Clamp, please visit Intercon’s website:
