GREEN COUNTRY
I am writing on behalf of the Green Country Arabian Horse Association (GCAHA) to thank you and your Association for the support and assistance during the Green Country Arabian Classic show.
Green Country Arabian Classic was the first show to be approved by the Arabian Horse Association and RSNC. Because we were the first show approved by both organizations, we were very anxious to provide our exhibitors with an excellent, enjoyable event. With the help and assistance of your membership, we were able to accomplish our goal. The exhibitors enjoyed their rides and the audience was excited to watch them.
As soon as we received approval to hold the show Mr. Ed Ray called to offer assistance. He very generously offered to let us use his clock and other equipment we might need. Ed and his wife Mary attended the show offering their help and assistance throughout, as well as working the gate. Robb Hanshaw and Phil Nicols also assisted with the gate and offered help as needed. Shelley Fitzgerald called to offer her assistance and to let us know that she and Dr. DeRoy White would be at the show to assist. She and Dr. White rode with the beginner ranch sorters to help them through their first classes.
Owana Hutchens graciously agreed to announce. Additionally, she spent several hours before the show with our show secretary to ensure everything was set up correctly. Throughout the show Owana provided riders direction and information for their rides, and in general helped us keep the show moving in a timely manner. Don Hutchens gave his time to help our Judge during his first show. Donny even offered to judge a few classes to help us get started. Zac Morgan generously gave of his time to mark cattle and assist with moving them in the pens.
With the help and assistance from your most incredible members, who volunteered to help us, we were able to have a successful and seamless event. Thank you again for your support and interest in our show.
