Bob McPherson And Doug Pritchett (hence the BAD) of BAD Productions is pleased to announce the results of our very successful two (2) day ranch sorting held in the flatlands of Texas on May 18 & 19. The fierce competition took place in the new, climate controlled, Mallet Event Center, located in Levelland Texas. 554 teams competed in the two day show that awarded winnings of three (3) Todd Jeys Saddles and $800 added money to the top point’s winners. There were also twelve (12) championship buckles awarded to the high point rider in each class.
The twelve herds of cattle, provided by Day Show Cattle, were first run cattle with lots of spirit and energy. We used three (3) sorting pens to be as fast and efficient as possible and managed to get seven (7) classes finished by 5 pm on Saturday and four (4) classes finished by 2 pm on Sunday. The show included sorters from four (4) different states which made for great sorting and even better fellowship. BAD Productions has signed up as many as 61 new members to the RSNC family over the past year and provided a variety of classes to benefit all types of riders from Youth, Beginners, Novice & Open Riders. A special thank you to our wonderful workers: Judges – Noris Stevens & Rick Wayman, Announcer - Ransom Lermon, Show Secretary - Shellie Shorb & BAD Productions Secretary - Debbie Dalton, for all their hard work and preparation.
