NEW PROPERTY- FINDING AGENCY FOR BUYERS IN SPAIN


DEMAND UP AND RECORD SALES IN MALLORCA


Engel & Völkers, Mallorca’s leading estate agent with


16 offi ces throughout the island, is reporting an increased demand for prime property in top locations, with multi-million euro spends.


In the island’s south west alone, Engel & Völkers (engelvoelkers.com) has sold three properties ranging from €7 – 9 million in the fi rst fi ve months of 2013 in the Puerto Andratx area to German speaking buyers. Sales in this area are up by 40 per cent in the fi rst quarter of this year over 2012.

Andratx just sold for €9 million. It off ers seven bedrooms over 650m2 of living space, divided between main and guest houses – and superb sea views.


Further along the coast to San Augustin, Engel & Völkers has seen an unprecedented demand for the new “Bendinat Mar” frontline development on the site of the former Uto Palace hotel with sales ranging from €672k.


This project, which started at the end of 2013, features a total of 79 units and now only 9 units are left to sell.
