1. Give us an elevator pitch for Clean the Unseen We are a unique cleaning service utilising 100% natural and chemical-free UV-C Light technology to clean and sanitise. Our eco-friendly, state of the art equipment kills germs, bacteria and viruses, and is also proven to help to control allergies and limit cross-infection in your environment, ensuring your business runs smoothly.
2. How did your entrepreneurial journey begin? I kind of fell into it after graduating, I began working in social media management, and a significant aspect of the role involved selling and finding clients. After this, I began working with a start-up company founded by my godmother selling UV-C Light Products to commercial clients such as hotels, restaurants, nurseries etc. It was during this period that the idea for Clean the Unseen arose; utilising the products to offer a fully-fledged cleaning service.
3. What has been your biggest achievement so far?
I would say it was winning my first corporate contract, which was a social media management agreement simply because it was a long hard trough. The process of contact, pitching, and negotiation probably lasted 3-4 months, so I was ecstatic when they finally signed on the dotted line!
4. Where do you see your company in 5 years? I’d love to build a quality, recognisable cleaning services brand, providing gainful employment for hundreds of people, and expanding worldwide, revolutionising cleaning ‘best practice’ and the industry as a whole. It is also equally as important for me to build strong relationships with staff and clients.
5. What is the best advice you’ve been given? “Don’t chase money, chase excellence.”
