Irish spirit

First Ireland Spirit, have launched their authentic, award winning O'Mara's Irish Country Cream in the USA, in a new 1.5ltr PET bottle manufactured by Graham Packaging. Patricia Lynch at First Ireland Spirits said, "We decided to introduce the Graham 1.5 ltr bottle for a number of reasons. Firstly the larger size represented better value for the consumer, the PET is not as heavy as the glass equivalent making it easier for the consumer to handle and use. The PET bottle offers us a number of significant savings, we can fit more bottles into a container therefore reducing transport costs due to weight savings and optimising the size of customer orders. We have also noticed some significant advantages on our production line, where having eliminated broken bottles on the line has resulted in a marked reduction in stoppages and increased efficiencies." For further information please telephone 01865 893000, email chalgrove@gpceurope.eu or visit www.gpceurope.eu
