“We have built strong links and relationships in the local business community since we moved in to Reading in 2010, and our move into Apex Plaza will help us develop these further.”
Manches relocates to Apex Plaza
Manches LLP law firm has witnessed positive growth in the local economy and has responded by upgrading and relocating its Reading operation into Apex Plaza.
Manches was keen for its new offices to be based at the centre of Reading’s thriving professional business community and also within close proximity to the station for ease of access for its clients from London and across the South. The firm’s strong view is that Apex Plaza achieves those objectives.
“It was the right time in the development of our Reading team to move to a location with a higher profile among our client base and the local professional community, and somewhere with plenty of scope for further growth,” says Manches Reading office head, Justin Starling.
“We have built strong links and relationships in the local business community since we moved in to
Reading in 2010, and our move into Apex Plaza will help us develop these further.”
Justin continues: “Two years ago Manches established a team of lawyers in Davidson House in Forbury Square, before moving into short term accommodation at Reading Bridge House. The success of the office over this period has been very encouraging, particularly given the testing economic conditions. But, Manches has always had a strong reputation in the region, and this has undoubtedly helped the firm lay a solid foundation from which it can now build and develop its practice from Apex Plaza.
“The partners believed that a Reading office would be vital if the firm was going to accelerate growth in its Thames Valley practice. The decision to open in Reading in 2008, at a time when no other firms were expanding locally was a bold move, but is proving to be the right one!”

Starling adds, “We know that there are some very good law firms in the town, but we’ve always believed that with our reputation, contacts in the marketplace and quality of lawyers, there will always be opportunities for us to win work in a dynamic region like the Thames Valley.”
Manches provides banking, corporate, commercial, employment, family, private client, dispute resolution, intellectual property, property and IT/Outsourcing advice from its offices in London, Reading and Oxford.
