Designing and Applying a Personal Logo. 12-4pm. Students will create a personal logo and business card using Adobe Illustrator. The course will include basic skills building within Illustrator. The process will take the student from a sketch on paper to a finished digital logo ready for real life application. Students should have computer knowledge and an idea for their logo design. $65. Block Print Cards. 10am-3pm. Explore the handmade realm of block printing. We will be exploring the “Newport Block” methodology of using multiple inks on one block to make polychrome prints that are exciting. Choose from three formats to produce greeting cards, post cards, enclosure cards and mailers. Fee is-$45 plus a $15 materials fee to the instructor at first meeting.
