The Great Croydon Bake Off The Great Croydon Bake Off is the first event of its kind to be held in Croydon. The four part event is spread out throughout the year to match the seasons starting with Winter on Saturday 16 February. Each event will showcase four different bakers with the winner from each event squaring off at the grand finale for the unofficial title of Croydon’s Best Baker! Bakes will be judged by Sean Coughlan, Product Director of the Coughlan’s bakery chain and multi- award winning Chocolatier and Pastry Chef, Tim Fisher. Taking up the reins as Croydon’s answer to Mel and Sue will be Presenter Rebecca Perfect. With demos and workshops happening throughout the day and the all important tasting opps, this FREE event is already getting all of Croydon buzzing!! When? Saturday 16 February, 12.00 - 6.00pm Where? Sport Harlem Globetrotters


World Tour Known as innovators of the game of basketball for decades, the world famous Harlem Globetrotters return to London’s Wembley Arena to once again introduce something unparalleled in the history of sports and family entertainment, taking kid participation and fun to a whole new level. This year’s Globetrotters roster features stars such as: Special K Daley, Big Easy Lofton, Flight Time Lang, Dizzy Grant and Scooter Christensen – along with female star TNT Maddox and 7-foot-8 Tiny Sturgess, the Guinness World Record holder as the World’s Tallest Professional Basketball Player.

Lichtenstein A Retrospective Tate Modern stages the most comprehensive exhibition ever devoted to foremost Pop artist Roy Lichtenstein. Co-organised by The Art Institute of Chicago and Tate Modern, this will be the first major Lichtenstein retrospective for twenty years, bringing together 125 of the artist’s most definitive paintings and sculptures. Built on new research and scholarship, the exhibition will reassess Lichtenstein’s work and his enduring legacy. MOVE IT 2013 MOVE IT, the UK’s biggest dance event is back. Join 20,000 dancers for three days at the UK’s biggest festival dedicated to dance of all styles and levels. Taking place at London’s Olympia, soak up MOVE IT’s electric atmosphere with 100 live performances, 220 dance classes in any genre you can think of, dance competitions and fascinating interviews from dancing idols and celebrities from the dance world.
