Sports and Fitness Expo in Maple Grove, March 15 and 16

he Carnivalia Sports and Fitness Expo will be held next month at the Maple Grove Community Cen- ter. The expo will run from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. on March 15 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 16. The expo will include: a show- case of exhibits by youth sports associations and youth mentoring organizations serving the Greater Twin Cities area (including free sports skills clinics and demonstrations); free sports video screen tests; all-day dance and exercise camps, featuring free lessons in Zumba, salsa, cumbia, meringue, West Coast swing, tango and hip hop; yoga and martial arts demonstrations; and more than 100 exhibits of sports- and fitness-related products and technology.
In addition, there will be a “flash mob” Zumba party, featuring local Zumba instructors, at 1:07 p.m. Free exhibitor tables are available
to nonprofit youth mentoring organi- zations serving the Greater Twin Cities area and free exhibitor booths are available to all youth sports associa- tions serving the Greater Maple Grove area.
