A

benefit event spon- sored by beyond Yoga

(BY) to raise funds and awareness for the African Yoga Project (AYP) will be held this month at a to-be- determined day, time and location in Naples. The company also invites yoga enthusiasts to begin plan- ning to attend any of three yoga retreats in Italy this summer—in Tuscany, June 2 to 9; Ortisei, June 16 to 23; and Ischia, June 23 to 30. BY President Melissa Saitta will participate in an AYP-run

program in Nairobi, Kenya, in April to help build schools and community, while contributing to the training of more than 40 new African yoga teachers. “The retreats allow participants to meet new friends,

dive into a different culture and immerse in some of the most beautiful places in the world,” says Saitta. “I’ve done my best in selecting the most organically authentic resorts and retreat locations that nature has to offer, while offering the most beautiful surroundings for yoga and meditation.”
