ACA -Accredited® ensures that we care enough to undergo a thorough review of each site’s operation — from staff qualifi cations and training to emergency management and aquatic safety.
The American Camp Association collaborates with experts from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Red Cross, and other youth-serving agencies to assure that current practices at your child’s camp refl ect the most up-to-date, research-based standards in camp operation. Camps and ACA form a partnership that promotes growth and fun in an environment committed to safety.
Becoming an ACA Accredited program is voluntary. We choose to maintain our accreditation as a means of ensuring the safety and excellence of our Camping programs.
