HINKING PROCESS


The Flow Map is used for sequencing the stages and sub-stages of an event, identify the steps in the process and in ordering information. They can be used to explain the order of events. In the Flow Map, the students write the name of the event and the rectangles flow from


left to right. The Flow Map can be drawn horizontally, vertically or in any direction as long as each stage is drawn in a box and connected with an arrow. It can be used to plot a story, show historical events in sequences, in problem solving in mathematics, identify stages of a life cycle and more. An example of a Flow Map is below:
