IN THE CLASSROOM Te Copyright Act has certain exemptions for using and/ or performing copyrighted works in the classroom. For example, students may use copyrighted materials like DVDs and music in the classroom for presentations and such. However, this does not allow one to copy any copyrighted material; one must own the DVDs or music in order to use them. Copyright is a very complex field of law. Lawyers
