Monarch Therapy Adds Aromatherapy Products M


onarch Therapy, LLC, in Naples, now offers aromather- apy products as an affiliate of Oil Lady Aromatherapy. Clients can create their own aromatherapy toolbox collection that can be shipped directly to their residence or obtained at Monarch’s facility.


According to Monarch Therapy co-owner Candace New-


man, MAT, LMT, the healing properties of various aromatherapy oils can assist with fatigue, mood, headaches, stomachaches, cold and flu, sunburn, inflamma- tion, rashes, bites, skin irritation, bruises, PMS, menopause, libido and symptoms related to cancer.


She says, “Since the beginning of time, mankind has relied on essential oils to assist through times of transition, to celebrate the joys of life and to safeguard our overall sense of well-being. each Saturday, beginning November 3, at the Holton Eco-Preserve, in Fort Myers.


Topics to be covered include veg- etables and herbs for our area, peren- nials and companion planting, com- posting and soil care, pest and disease management, container and raised bed gardening and permaculture concepts. Participants will work in teams and be responsible for creating and maintain- ing their own garden plots.


“There’s an increasing interest in being able to grow a portion of one’s food, both for quality control and sus- tainability,” says Bell. “Sharing in the joy of producing food is a life-empow- ering experience.”

St. Jude Give Thanks Walk at Sugden Park

he St. Jude Give Thanks Walk to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will start at 8:15 a.m., November 17, at Sugden Regional Park, in Naples. The free, family-friend- ly event, with registration beginning at 7 a.m., is part of a 90-city nationwide program and supports children battling cancer and other diseases.
