Your support of the OES Fund helped us exceed our financial goal and resulted in a 6% increase in annual fund revenue.
The OES Board of Trustees led the annual appeal, providing 22% of the OES Fund total dollars raised. Faculty again achieved 100% participation in giving to the OES Fund, based on full-time employment.
Auction attendance was at capacity. The auction special appeal raised nearly $120,000 in unrestricted funds, enhancing the quality of all OES programs.
2012 saw the opening of the Platt Global Classroom, funded in large part by the 2011 auction special appeal.
Memorial gifts and new bequests provided nearly $360,000 for the OES endowment, including generous gifts designated to establish the following new endowments: ²² ² ² ²²

OES provided over $1,750,000 in awards to 140 deserving students qualifying for need-based financial aid.
OES benefitted from the engagement of 670 volunteers who contributed over 21,750 hours to more than 80 projects and activities. In the 2011-12 school year OES implemented VolunteerSpot, an online tool which significantly improved the process of volunteering.
