CHRISTMAS IS ON THE HORIZON and there’s a special event on November 10 to get you in the festive mood. Children can take part in free arts and crafts activities from the early afternoon, carols will be sung


at Holy Trinity Sloane Square from 4.15pm and a procession will lead the way from the church to Duke of York Square for the Christmas lights switch-on at around 5.15pm. The event will be in support of the Prince’s Foundation for Children & the Arts.


HAVE A PINT WITH TV adventurer and travel writer Charley Boorman at the Royal Court Theatre. Charley will be giving an on-stage interview about his globe-trotting journeys, followed by a reception. Guests will have the chance to meet him and sample a special release of Pilsner Urquell just 24 hours after it left the Czech brewery. Pilsner Urquell presents an
