Major bands to hit the sands!
The Stranglers, Levellers and The Skints are to name but a few of the headlining acts on offer at this year’s Looe Music Festival 2012.
If you fancy a weekend by the sea, with good food, good company and fantastic music ... then Looe is definitely the place to be this September!
Three stages packed with first class entertainment held over three days, it all equals one BIG party on Looe beach – what more could you ask for?
Looe Music Festival 2012 is set in a fantastic, thrilling and inspiring location by the sea which is sure to make the bands on offer pull of some amazing performances during the weekend at this very family friendly music event.
Looe Music Festival 2012 is now very proud to announce a new addition to this year’s line up ... Kernow King.
Described as an actor of mis-fortune, a geninue Cornish entertainer, he is sure to have the crowds wanting more!
Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd and Sunday, 23rd September should be marked in your calendar as a weekend to look forward to and remember.
Stage times are 6.00pm to 9.30pm on the Friday and 1.00pm to 9.30pm on the Saturday and Sunday - the entertainment then continues with live music in the local bars and restaurants.
The programme is still being finalised but briefly consists of:
Friday, September 21st: The Skints, Showaddywaddy, Company B, OD, Dretonio, Cantaloop.
Saturday, September 22nd: Levellers, Martin Barre (from Jethro Tull), The Lambrettas, If..., Ten Zero One, Chigwah, Kernow King, Crowns.
Sunday, September 23rd: The Stranglers, Mad Dog Mcrea, The Normals, Empire of Fools, Simon Townshead, Two Spot Gobi.
Local bands: James Shead, Claire Stokes, Jessica Sweetman, Penndrumm, Shamrock, Keltique.

Cornish bands: Aberfal Oggymen, Kernuyck, Charlie Wingfield, Kernow King, Crowns (supported Blink -182 at the Eden Sessions), Miner Quay, Chigwah.
With so much on offer throughout the weekend, why not stay for the entire festival and sample the local hospitality of Looe and its surrounding areas.
