1. Global Trading

UK businesses are now considering international trade to expand their businesses, with favourable exchange rates and the maintenance of the 0.5 percent interest rate. Economists argue that Brazilian, Russian, Indian and Chinese markets could become larger than the world’s current six most developed countries in less than 40 years. In terms of opportunities, Brazil is in the top three countries for spending the most amount of time online, therefore an e-commerce entry would work well. Russia represents retail opportunities, as the country has a signficant appetite for international brands, particularly in the luxury sector. In terms of India, 40 per cent of the country is under 19, making it a fruitful landscape for businesses targeting youths. Lastly, China present the world’s largest consumer market and the country has agreed to lower tariffs and abolish market impediments. If you would like to gain advice on beginning the process of taking your business global, the UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) offers a range of services for UK exporters.

3. Google Drive Google have now launch the Google Drive, offering you another platform to

save your work in the cloud. Standing out from the pack, with competitors such as Microsoft’s SkyDrive, Apple’s iCloud, Evernote and Dropbox, this service provides a beefed-up version of Google Docs where you can store documents, photos, music and videos all in one place. It also syncs with your mobile device and computer, meaning that if you swap gadgets you can still access your information. Furthermore, if you made an edit to a document and hit save, you can still track revisions from the past 30 days. Google Drive also handles 30 different types of files, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, even if you don’t have the programmes installed on your computer. The platform also does away with email attachments, making file sharing seamless and easy.
