Paddington is urging schools and nurseries to join in with his Bring your Bear event

addington Bear is encouraging primary schools, nurseries and children’s groups across the UK to register to take part in his annual Bring your Bear event this summer to raise vital funds for his favourite children’s charity, Action Medical Research.


His Bring your Bear concept is simple and fun and this year’s event is extra special as Action Medical Research is celebrating their 60th anniversary. It’s easy to join in, just choose a day in May or June when the children bring their teddy bear, or a favourite soft toy, along with them for the day.


Each child brings in a £2 donation with their bear to support vital research to help sick babies and children.


Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide medical research charity dedicated to helping babies and children. They’ve been funding medical breakthroughs since they began in 1952 and have spent more than £100 million on research that has helped save thousands of children’s lives and changed many more. But there is still so much more to do. Make 2012 a special year and help fund more life-changing research for some of the UK’s sickest babies and children.
