eterborough Libraries are fun places for children and their families. They are free to join and children can have their own library card from birth. You can borrow all sorts of books for your baby and toddler, from board books and ‘touch and feel’ books, to picture books and storybooks for children learning to read.


Children’s films are also available to borrow on DVD.


Your baby or toddler can also enjoy the Bookstart Bookcrawl scheme. Simply collect stamps for each visit to the library and receive certificates designed by children’s book illustrators. Ask at your local library for

We welcome visits from nurseries and parent and toddler groups, please contact your local library to arrange a visit. Advice on sharing books with babies and young children is also available.
