Introduction
The Titanium Information Group (TIG) is a long established association of producers, processors, suppliers, designers, fabricators and end-users brought together to promote the use and understanding of titanium.
TIG ensures that titanium is given the consideration merited by its unique combination of mechanical properties, outstanding resistance to corrosion and cost effectiveness in a wide range of demanding applications.
TIG’s long-standing reputation as a focal point for technical leaders of the titanium industry is complemented by access to up-to-date information on the wider manufacturing industry through the NAMTEC Manufacturing Forum.
As of 2011, TIG is a special interest group of the Manufacturing Forum, which means that all members benefit from supply chain access, knowledge sharing and technology focused events addressing high value manufacturing, with particular emphasis on titanium’s main markets of aerospace and defence, power generation, and oil and gas.

RTI Advanced Forming joined the TIG group just over a year
ago after many years on the fringe of the group. It joined in order to support the group and benefit from the broad spectrum of its members. Titanium is at the heart of Aeromet where we daily produce aerospace components and assemblies from titanium sheet and plate materials. What better organisation to join than one that links similar organisations and functions, offers training on Titanium Metallurgy and generally promotes the Titanium Industry? We are pleased to be a member of this group.
