WHEN YOU SPEND your life doing what you love, the last thing you’d expect is to win an award for it. But that’s just what happened to George Goddard when Softball B.C. named him the 2011 Coach of the Year. “When I first got the call, I was
shocked, Then, after it sunk in, of course I felt extremely honoured,” said Goddard, the GM of Rosedale- based Holiday Trails RV Resorts. “I started coaching during the late 1970’s. It was something I did for the love of the sport, and of course, for all the kids I had the honour of teaching.”
I try to be a life coach...I try to
emulate respect and fairness; set some rules and emulate mutual respect for your team-mates and the players you’re playing against.
