First Leg: Penticton and Vineyards (14.35 km) • Go south on Okanagan Hwy and continue to follow Okanagan Hwy/ BC-97 S - 4.78 km. • Turn left at Skaha Lake Rd - 0.78 km. • Take the third right onto Lee Ave 0.62 km. • Turn right at S Main St 0.24 km. • Continue onto Lakeside Rd 6.69 km. • Continue onto E Side Rd Destination will be on the right.


From Penticton, head south


and follow Eastside Road along the eastern edge of Skaha Lake. Points of interest include Blasted Church Vineyards - roughly two-thirds of the way down the lake, and many scenic pull-outs and parks for snapping shots. Blasted Church is not only a winery, it’s actually an historic landmark. To see this storied location, drive to Okanagan Falls. Te church was moved from the mining town of Fairview in 1929. To facilitate the move, dynamite charges were used to loosen the nails so the building could be disassembled for transport.


Second Leg: Okanagan Falls and Corkscrew Drive (5.39 km) • Head south on East Side Rd toward Parsons Rd 4.74 km • Take a right turn at 7th Ave 0.27 km • Take the third left onto Main Street 0.22 km • Take the second right onto 9th Ave/ Okanagan Hwy/BC-3: Alt N/BC-97 N Destination will be on the leſt


Drive south to Okanagan Falls. Once home to historic stockyards where cattle were collected and loaded onto steamers for the journey up the lake. Many of the buildings that are now located in Okanagan Falls were moved here at one time. Fourteen

homes were hauled in from the Copper Mountain mine during the 1950s, while Bassett House was a 1906 catalogue mail order establishment. Highlights of this leg of the journey include numerous Antique and collectibles shops, weekend flea markets, and five world-class wineries located on the “Corkscrew Drive” circuit.


Third Leg: Kaleden and West Side of Skaha Lake (19.45 km) • Head west on 9th Ave/Okanagan Hwy/BC-3 Alt N/BC-97, North toward Ash St, continue to follow Okanagan Hwy/BC-97 N 7.55 km. • Head north on Okanagan Hwy/BC- 97N, toward Larch Ave 7.10 km. • Turn left at Channel Pkwy/ Okanagan Hwy/BC-97 N and continue to follow Okanagan Hwy/ BC-97 N 4.78 km.


• Turn left at Eckhardt Ave W/ Okanagan Hwy/BC-97 N 0.01 km • Turn left at Railway St.


Te leisurely drive back to Penticton will take you along the west shore of Okanagan Lake, down highway 97. Leg highlights include Linden Gardens at Kaleden, gourmet coffee at Frog City Café, or stop for produce at a roadside fruit stand.
