Pepper is a popular feature of outdoor breaks and weekends at Mowden Hall School, Northumberland, especially
among the boarders who see her as a substitute for their family dogs at home. She loves to hoover up the crumbs from the “Little Tea” afternoon snacks!
Ducks-a- quacking
The children at Port Regis, Devon, have seen the ducks’ eggs incubated, hatch and grow-up and now bump into them everyday as the family waddles around campus.
Dogs-a-dashing

Sam Brooks with Dexter the parrot – who currently resides at The Old Malthouse, Dorset. Dexter is renowned for his rendition of The Great Escape theme tune! Pupils visit him in the aviary in the summer, while he enjoys the warmth of the house in the cold months.
