Noonan to Lead Workshops in Estero and Naples
L
ocal artist and Reiki Master Chris- tine Turner Noonan will of- fer a workshop that combines energy sciences and the arts at two area institu- tions, beginning this month. She will present The Language of Art – Plein-Aire, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., December 9 to 11, at Koreshan State Historic Site, in Estero; and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., January 9 to 11, at The von Liebig Art Center, in Naples.
Christine Turner Noonan
“Art was one of our first lan- guages, and the workshops are about discovering our limitations and allowing for change and trans- formation,” says Noonan. “When an artist is interacting in the natural world and begins to make their marks on canvas, a language is forming. As the painting is built, it depicts a scene, but also reveals who the artist is. In translating this language, we become aware of our struggles and move through limitations for a greater freedom of expression.”
Noonan will offer a lecture to begin the workshops and conclude with an analysis of each paint- ing. She will lead three additional three-day workshops from February through April.
Fee: $300. Locations: von Liebig Art Center, 585 Park St., Naples; Kore- shan, 3800 Corkscrew Rd., Estero. To register and for more information, call 239-649-7279, visit ChristineTurner-

The Healing Powers of Pan Gu Shengong E
xperience the healing power of Pan Gu Shengong (PGSG) from its originator, Grand Qigong Master
Ou, Wen Wei. His return to Southwest Florida will include private healing treatments from January 11 to 13, and separate workshops from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., January 14, and from 1:30 to 7:30 p.m., January 15, at Unity Church of Bonita Springs. “Take kindness and benevolence as basis,” advises Master Ou. “Take frankness and friendliness to heart.” These are among the tenets of PGSG, a mystical qigong that is designed to absorb the essence of qi (energy) from the universe in order to refine the heart and soul, strengthen the life force and bring better health to the body.
