Dear Readers, It’s the last edition of 2011; how quickly the year has gone but I do love the Christmas season! It begins far too early, but once December arrives I feel I can embrace it and start my shopping and cards. I know I’m way behind lots of people who have probably finished theirs by then, but I always get it done and rather like picking up the last few presents in the days just before Christmas.
We’re looking forward to having a couple of our children home from university and meeting up with the other two during the Christmas period too. With our youngest son having only started last September and my husband and me finding ourselves home alone, I’m really looking forward to having them back for a few weeks.
I may think otherwise of course when they arrive with bags of washing, I find the contents of my fridge and cupboards sadly depleted after a couple of days and I’m yet again standing in a supermarket queue!
