D

erma Clinic of Naples is offering Queen for a Day certificates to

enhance that special someone’s looks and skin health during the holidays and beyond. They are available for treatments such as facials, brown spot removal, microdermabrasion, natural hair strokes for eyebrows and eyelashes, medical- grade peels, lash enhancements and electrolysis.

According to the U.S. Food and Drug

Administration and the American Medical Association, elec- trolysis is the only method of permanent hair removal and has been effectively used for 130 years. Prior to treatment, the skin is cleansed and an antibiotic ointment is applied; additional precautions include hand washing, gloves, pre-sterilized dis- posable probes and dry-heat sterilization for instruments. Owner Debra Victor, a licensed esthetician certified in medical electrolysis, says, “Treatments are tailored to meet each individual’s needs.” She notes that time frame and success can vary, based upon the rate and texture of hair growth, previous removal habits (waxing and/or tweezing), hormones, stress and medications, and an individual’s personal commitment and health.

Location: 814 Anchor Rode Dr. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 239-262-1155, visit HealthySkin- ByDebra.com or email DermaClinic@comcast.net. Also visit Electrology.com. See ad, page 4.
