Second Adelheidi’s Opens in Downtown Fort Myers
A
delheidi’s is now serving gelato and other delicious healthy treats at a second location, 1516 Hendry Street, in downtown Fort Myers. The first location opened in early 2011 on Fifth Avenue South, in downtown Naples.
Both shops offer homemade gelato
or Italian ice cream made with the same ingredients as most frozen dairy desserts, but containing less butterfat. Adelheidi’s serves breakfast crepes prepared in front of customers on hot plates; fresh-baked cakes and crepes; coffee and cappuccino made on a true Italian machine; savory scones with fresh fruit; and shakes and smoothies. Co-owner Jens Schuppenhauer says treats are being made
in Fort Myers and are also delivered daily from Naples. He is also considering new franchises.
