Enfield Sports Development Team invites expressions of interest for the delivery of sports coaching provision for Enfield residents.
The London Borough of Enfield ‘s Everybody Active Strategy aims to provide a range of activities for the workplace, schools and for the community. The sport and physical activity provision currently comprises of the delivery of over 15 different sports and physical activities per week for residents from the age of 2yrs old to 50+ activities. Average annual attendances for young people is 47,475 and 21,109 adults in a range of sport and dance activities.
The Council is seeking an innovative delivery partner who can demonstrate they have the necessary experience, skills, resources and capacity to provide and develop the sports development services. This includes delivering coaching/instructing of activities in traditional sports, dance activities, walks, fitness based provision and extreme sports for a wide range of audiences including providing diversionary activities, activities for over 50s, women and girls, disabled people and activities in deprived areas of the borough.
The successful provider will be required to have fully qualified instructors, coaches and equipment to provide all activities to a high standard. The provider will also be responsible for carrying out CRB checks and other checks required for the delivery of the service.
The deadline for expressing an interest by requesting and returning a completed Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) is 5pm on the 11th November 2011.
