Outstanding facilities—some of them award- winning—support academics, athletics, campus life, personal wellness, and recreation. The Richard B. Flynn Campus Union is a central location for student activities and services. The Wellness and Recreation Center, Field House, and Athletic Training/Exercise


Science Complex have been cited as among the most outstanding facilities of their kind in the nation. Technologically up-to-date, the campus has


wireless zones, smart classrooms, computer labs, a videoconferencing facility, a conference center, a language laboratory, and more. There is a television studio, a journalism laboratory, and a radio station. Science facilities include the state-of-the-art Schoo-Bemis Science Center, the Allied Health Sciences Center, and facilities in Herbert P. Blake and Locklin halls. The Fuller Arts Center is the site of performances,


and the Visual Arts Center contains studio work space and a public exhibition center. The 58-acre East Campus comprises a forest


ecosystem with camping facilities and lake shoreline. The Child Development Center is an exceptional fieldwork facility for students of education and psychology.


Babson Library—well known for its resources in


physical education, psychology, education, health and human services—contains a rich collection of full text print and digital materials. Excellent athletics facilities include the field house with a six-lane running track surrounding four multipurpose courts, strength and conditioning facilities, and more. The football and lacrosse fields, and two multipurpose fields, feature state-of-the-art synthetic turf surfaces. There also are: a six-lane, 50-meter pool; a


three-level, multipurpose, 2,000-seat arena with indoor jogging track; an eight-lane outdoor track; two teaching gymnasiums with handball/racquetball courts; eight tennis courts; fields for baseball and softball; and indoor batting cages.
