04 The hot-ish!

Hey peoples’ its that time again where we hit you with another HOT installment! This month It’s all about island flavour and fashion flair when it comes to our events, starting with Scoop International a high fashion trade show that fuses contemporary art to create an avant garde fashion buyers dream. Then we soak in the Caribbean lime at Calo festival and follow that up with some serious wukkin’ up at Carnival with the BaccMass band. A quick stopover in Cuba has us channeling our inner salsera with Havana Rakatan (WEEPA!). Then we rock it out with Lenny Kravitz and the outstanding line up of BBC Radio 2’s Live in Hyde Park. Last but not least we couldn’t miss the big game Ghana v Brazil with both teams showing outstanding skill.

You feeling the heat yet?? I know the Lenny mention has the ladies breaking out in hot sweats lol. We return to the islands to spend time with HOT Bajan group of the moment COVERDRIVE. They’re causing a storm on the airwaves with their debut single Lick Ya Down. Raising the temp to record highs are our male features; actor Wil Johnson he’s been all over the screen this summer and is now taking a turn in the producer’s seat and DJ Hooch of UK B-Boy Chamionships fame.

We keep bringing the fire every issue! As Sean Paul told y’all last issue HOTMINUTE! READ IT! DO IT!

Keep It Hot! The hm team xxxx
