Sunday September 25 Farmers Market, West Malling High Street. Over 27 regular stalls selling a wide range of local produce and goods. 9.30am – 1.30pm.
Sunday September 25 Free live music from the house band at the King and Queen, East Malling: The Usual Suspects, classic rock & pop covers from 7.30pm.
Sunday September 25. Tonbridge and Malling Ramblers’ Otford to Shoreham and back 5½ mile walk. Meet at Otford village car park, opposite The Bull pub for 10am start. One steep climb at the start and a few stiles - but the views over Otford and Shoreham are well worth it. Dogs on leads welcome. For more details: 07886 105990.
Friday September 30 - Sunday October 2 Music @ Malling Festival
A wide range of music for all tastes in venues across the Malling area including jazz at The Swan restaurant, West Malling, and a concert at Mereworth church.
Thursday October 13 East Malling Research Station Music Club at Bradbourne House, 8pm. New Foxtrot Serenaders will present Back to the Future, a celebration of the modern day crooner, from the Rat Pack to Michael Buble with a little help from Matt Monroe, Harry Connick Jnr, Bobby Darin, Mel Torme and Rod Stewart.
Sunday October 16 East Malling village walk. All are welcome to join in an informal guided walk around the village. Leaving from East Malling village hall at 2.15pm, weather permitting. Saturday October 22 Manor Mystery at Manor Park Country Park, West Malling. Come to the park at dusk, follow a self-led pumpkin trail with a Halloween theme and encounter some of the park’s spooky residents on your way. Fun for all the family, £5 per child.
Sunday October 23 Garden Open Days at Mere House, Mereworth, in aid of the National Gardens Scheme, 2-5.30pm.

Tuesday October 4 Free Business Networking Event
Malling businesses are invited to come to a relaxed networking evening from 5.30pm at Leybourne Premier Inn and Castle Lake Restaurant. Welcome drinks and an opportunity to sample the latest dishes from the restaurant menu are available. Bring your business cards and promotional material and make new contacts. Kings Hill Rotary meets every Monday at 7pm at the Spitfire Pub.
Malling Rotary meets on Tuesdays at 7pm at the Duke of Wellington Pub.
Chip Productions Drama Group meets on Fridays at 7.30pm at West Malling Village Hal
Malling Photographic Society meets every Tuesday at West Malling Village Hall at 8pm.
The Heath Players meet on Fridays at the East Malling Institute Mill Street at 8pm.
West Malling Women's Institute meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Clout Institute, High Street, West Malling at 7.30pm.
Malling Stamp Club meets at the Clout Institute, WM High Street, at 7.30pm on the second Tuesday of the month.
Shin-gi-tai Karate Club meets at West Malling Village Hall, Wednesdays 8pm-10pm - Adult karate and self defence. Thursdays 6.30pm - novice & junior.
Tuesday November 1
East Malling Research Station Music Club at Bradbourne House, 8pm. Clive Frewer and Friends. An evening of musical delights with popular opera arias to songs from West End shows, interspersed with instrumental pieces for piano solo and violins and more.
Thursday November 3 Free live music. Back by popular demand, Tim Haine at the King and Queen, East Malling. Blues & Reggae from 9pm.
Saturday November 5 East Malling and Larkfield Parish Council’s annual bonfire and firework Display at Larkfield Recreation Ground. Starting at 7pm with a ‘Best Guy’ competition in the hall, the bonfire will be lit at 7.30pm followed by the firework display. All welcome to come along to this free event.
Saturday November 12 The Friends of RSPCA Leybourne- Christmas Fayre at Larkfield Village Hall 1pm-4pm. Attractions include: stalls, refreshments and Santa in his Grotto. Children under 5 get free entry, adults £1.
Sunday November 13 Remembrance day service at the Airman Statue on Kings Hill, starting at 11am.
Sunday November 13th. Remembrance Day Service for West Malling at St Mary's Church. Parade and march past from Bull Bridge at 1.50pm. Service at 2.30pm. Refreshments at Church Centre afterwards.
Saturday November 26 Christmas Craft Fair at Kings Hill Community Centre 1pm - 4pm.
