Panto veteran Charles Burden will play the loveable Nanny Glucose and the beautiful Sophia Thierens will add a touch of glamour to the show in the role of Princess Beauty. Flying sequences and amazing CGI special effects help to bring the wonderful story of Sleeping Beauty to life. Flying dragons, space flight and forests of thorns that grow before your very eyes are just some of the effects guaranteed to delight.

Christian in the BBC soap, will join the brilliant Stephen Mulhern (Britain's Got More Talent, Magic Numbers), the hilarious Sue Devaney (Dinner Ladies, Coronation Street) and local panto legend Dave Lee. Cinderella is a truly magical


show which combines the classic fairytale with all the traditional ingredients expected at the Marlowe: stunning sets and costumes, brilliant singing and dancing, side-splitting comedy, truly amazing illusions, lots of audience participation and, of course, a very happy ending. Once again, the Marlowe


pantomime will be written and directed by Paul Hendy and produced by the same team that brought the smash-hit shows Robin Hood and Peter Pan. Friday December 2 - Sunday January 22


Elsewhere… Leslie Grantham (Eastenders' Dirty Den) will star in Mother Goose at Stag Theatre, Sevenoaks. He will be joined by Terrence Hardiman (the Demon Headmaster), Nate James (Urban Music Award winning soul singer), Anna Kumble (1990s pop star Lolly), and Sevenoaks favourites Robert Pearce and Ant Payne. Colleagues of Wickes,


Broadstairs, are putting on a production of Cinderella at Westgate Pavilion. The charity production, which takes place on December 16 and 17, will support Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. Packed with the usual


characters, stunning sets, song and dance routines and audience participation, Jack and the Beanstalk will offer a traditional pantomime experience at Leas Cliff Hall in Folkestone. Jeremy Edwards, of Holby


City and Dancing On Ice, stars in Aladdin at the Hazlitt Theatre, Maidstone. He is joined by Sapphire Elia (Mia Macey from Emmerdale) and Gary Damer (Lenny from CBBC’s Hotel Trubble).
