NPA announced the launch of a new awards program - the Parking Industry Innovators Awards. The Call for Nominations for next year opens in April 2012. The categories are: Parking Innovator of the Year; Parking Organizational Excellence & Innovation Award; Sustainability & Green Parking Award; and Innovative Facility Design Award.


NPA’s membership is up 10 percent in 2011. With new programs focused on specific industry interests, members are getting targeted education and value. The common theme is best practices and bottom-line performance.





NPA's new 2011 Parking Industry Purchasing Power Report is available for purchase at www.npapark.org. The report provides insights into the preferences, priorities and timing surrounding purchasing decisions. Findings represent a sample from three predominant sectors: private operators, hospital/academic and public/municipality.
