T ere is a new slant to our annual conference this year. Previously


known as “All-State,” the Illinois Music Education Conference will provide a unifi ed focus for IMEA


professional development activities. All-State and Honors ensembles


will still be prominent, but, teachers without participating students will have an easier time validating their attendance.
