ICMEA Chapter Recognition Award


This award is given to Illinois Collegiate Music Educators Association Chapters to recognize outstanding achievements, projects, and unique service to the campus and community in which the Chapter is located. Special consideration will be given to those projects or achievements which are, in some way, designed to advance the field of music education. This is not necessarily given on an annual basis and more than one award may be considered in the same year. Nominations may be made by any IMEA member or Chapter Sponsor.


Required supporting materials:


1. The chapter must have experienced growth in membership in the part year.


2. The chapter must have had meaningful projects to further the cause of music education.


3. The chapter must have shown evidence of participation in both the state activities of IMEA and other Student NAfME chapters.
