..the Dub-Step remix saw the band and audience go mental both on and off stage.
had us spectators captivated if not bewildered. If the previous performances by Adeleye and Sol had not warmed the growing audience, they were definitely on fire now!
Lazy Habit brought the house down with an opening performance of their hit track ‘Memory Banks’. It was the official start to the night’s event. Adding a rich soulful flavour to the mix was Baby Sol, an artist in her own-right, who has grown to become part of the Lazy Habits collective. The brass notes were no test against Sols Jazz influenced tones and hooks. Her quirky persona added drama to the band’s already engaging stage presence.

Just when you thought things couldn’t get any better they dropped the Dub-Step remix which saw the band and audience go mental. Various forms of body popping and hip locking could be witnessed as the frenzied audience rocked to the beat like it was a chain reaction.

Rather then being perceived as the root of society’s troubles, perhaps music is the doorway to which these problems can be solved. If leaders and authoritarians took time to listen to artists maybe it would be a start to tackling today’s social issues.
‘Starting Fires’ is a single about urban attitudes, social interaction and the fact that there are those who will go out of their way to cause disruption because they can’t help themselves.
